Throughout the summer of '09 - helping with Uganda

Tom and I continued to offer help and support to the Uganda orphanage, Mercy, through my cousin Sarah. As time passed we began to question - how can we help "hands on" with a child other than just sending money. As I began to research thru google, Ukraine hosting continued to pop up. I was not interested, as we felt pulled to Uganda. As I dug deeper and deeper, Ukraine kept popping up. Finally Tom and I sat down and discussed these "hosting" programs in Ukraine and decided to inquire. I e-mailed several hosting programs and got calls back from them all, but the last call came from Frontier Horizons out of Virginia and the lady that called was KT Bronson. Well, in 2 minutes I felt as if I was talking to my long lost best friend and everything felt "so right"! We agreed to host for Christmas of 2009. Little did we know that that phone call would change our lives forever! I highly recommend you check them out and see what you can do to lend a helping hand to something so worthy.
