Our final day in Kiev, Ukraine!!! We have been out all day sightseeing and shopping. I found some wonderful souvenirs to bring home for Ira and we also found some really good sales and picked up a few shirts and a cute jacket. Some of the prices here are incredible!!!
We came back to the room and got all of our stuff pretty well packed up and ready to go! I can't believe it is actually, finally time to go home!!! Our driver will pick us up at 4:30am Sat. morning (that's 9:30pm Fri. for you guys)! So 8:30pm your time on Friday night we will be getting up to leave. Guess we'll be up by about 3:30am. We are going down to dinner early and then trying to get to sleep as early as possible in hopes of getting some rest before the trip.
We fly out of here 6:45 am our time and arrive Saturday 6:15pm in Greensboro!!!
Sounds like flights are holding here so hopefully all will be well! I have all my paperwork for immigration to present at Dulles when we land there and Ira becomes a legal resident of the US and an American citizen!!!!
