ONE MORE WEEK!!!!

My brain and emotions are on overload!!! One week from today I will be on a plane headed across the ocean!! This has been the most amazing journey so far. It is beyond describing all the emotions that you go through. At this point I'm just so excited I can barely function. It's hard to sleep, my stomach flips with excitement all the time now. My suitcase is packed - well almost! Tickets are bought, reservations are made and I'm just ready to head out!!

I have been so blessed throughout this process with so many people that it amazes me. I've had people everywhere - literally all over the planet helping - giving advice, making arragements, taking letters and pictures to my daughter, sending me pictures of my daughter, getting information to her letting her know when I will arrive and just offering support and kindness. It really funny how those that have been thru this know the emotions and just seem to know what you need. Sometimes it's as simple as a "I know how you feel" or "It will all be ok" - the level of comfort that all of this brings is unbelievable! I will never be able to thank all of these people enough. But to those of you reading this - you know who you are - so THANK YOU - all of you for everything - the work, the thoughts, the prayers, the kind words - it has meant everything!!!

I have made so many friends along the way - some I've become very close to. I have a friend in country now adopting her daughter - she stays in constant contact telling me everything every step of the way. I'm so so excited for her and I truly love getting her updates and sharing in her excitment and joys! I find myself waking every morning waiting for her emails and wondering what her day is bringing her.

I have another wonderful family that I met briefly a while back and spoke with them today. They will be traveling about 2 days behind me so we are in contact now and hope to meet up once there. It feels wonderful to know others that will be there the same time that I will be - what a fantastic support system and network of amazing people.

I am going to do my best to post while gone - I do know that a large portion of my trip (which will be about a month) will have very limited internet - but I will do the best I can. Please feel free to leave me comments here on the blog. I may not be able to get them posted right way but I should be able to read them and it will do my heart good to read just the simplest of words while away. It will help me feel more connected to home - so please feel free to post - I would LOVE it!!!
