After all the paperwork, all the emails, all the phone calls - we are only 2 days away!! There is no way I have ever been this excited in my life about anything.
Everyone had told me the last week would fly by - well it has!!! Airline tickets bought, living accomodations arranged, house and hubby taken care of - and yes ladies - housekeepers hired!!!! A luxury for the next month!!!
Bags are packed - for me and for Ira - paperwork to take is done (thank you dear Tom - you are the greatest and heaven knows you almost need a law degree to do it!)
Already have "so long" telephone calls and emails - it's bittersweet. I can't wait to go get our daughter - she knows exactly what day to expect me!!! However, I will miss my husband, my family and friends and my home and doggies tremendously while gone! I will try to use this time to explore Ira's world and learn more of her and her history and not focus on my own "homesickness". She's giving up a life that she knows to come here - the unknown - I certainly can give up a month.
This is going to be one wonderful adventure - I'm ready to go!!!
I thank you all for all the support, blessings and prayers that you have offered - please continue to pray to brings us home safely.
My internet will be limited while away - but thru phone calls - I'm handing over the blogging details to Tom when necessary. If I can't blog - he will blog for me what he learns thru our phone calls.

WOW it is almost here. I know we are both feeling the same thing. A little scared but a whole lot more happy. I am packed, kids ready for me to be gone done, parents done, work done, meals in freezer done,cats taken care of done. But I can't seem to hire a houskeeper when I am one. But Tim will do a great job I am sure. See ya across the big pond... =)
