Today was another good day with Ira. Picked her up this morning and we stayed at the orphanage for about 1 hour while the kids finished up some spring cleaning. She is so happy each day when I get there that there is just no way you can have a bad day when you are greeted by her smiles and hugs! After we left the orphanage we headed on back to the apartment for a while. Later on we ventured out to the market and got several things to hold us over for a day or so. Basically we spent the rest of the day playing games and working on English. Ira is doing great and it is such a joy to have her here with me each day. She truly is the reason I keep on going!!
In the afternoon my facilitator called to tell me we’re still waiting on a document that we need for court. I had been hoping to here that the document was here and ready. But, he’s hoping it will come in by the end of this week and that we can have court next week. It will be so wonderful if that happens. I’m trying to not get my hopes up but it’s hard not to. I’m so ready for us to get to court and start our countdown to come home. Everyone please send good thoughts and prayers for this to happen for us.
